Spring is in the air here in Central Florida, and we are starting to take notice of quite a few Spring 2018 wedding color trends that you may expect to see in the next few months! We wanted to share a few ways for you to incorporate these color trends into your own weddings!
Ultraviolet is sure to be a hit this year, given that it is Pantone’s Color of the Year. This bold color is sure to be found in bridal bouquets, wedding favors, and bridesmaid dresses, but we have a few extra ideas of how to incorporate this fun hue into your wedding day festivities! Use ultraviolet to add an extra pop to your wedding day wardrobe. A fun pair of colorful heels, a bright tie for your groom, or even incorporating it into your makeup color palette are all ways to add the color to your day. Another fun way to add the color of the year to your wedding is to add uplighting! Most places that offer uplighting will have purple as an option! Alternate purple and blue uplighting to create a reception ambiance that is right on trend! Lilac and Green is definitely one of the Spring 2018 wedding color trends that we are excited to see more of! With the color of the year being such a bright bold shade, it is natural that many couples may shift towards a softer tone of purple. Lilac is a shade that pairs so nicely with last year’s color of the year-greenery. Expect to see beautiful shades of forest green and soft lilacs paired up in decor. Bakers Cottage Cakes loves to use deep greenery and gold flaking to incorporate green into the wedding cake. I would love to see a beautiful textured deep green linen as a way to incorporate green into your color scheme. Check out Over the Top Linen Rentals to see some fun options! This trending color combo looks great with pops of gold in your decor. We love how this tan suit from The Black Tux looks with this color trend!
This color combo comes as no surprise-as blush has been a wedding trend for quite some time now. Blush and Burgundy is coming on strong as one of the top 2018 Wedding Color trends, but for spring couples may be looking for a softer look. Pairing grey up with blush makes for a beautiful spring color scheme. With blush being such a common color, adding touches of yellow and peach is a beautiful touch! For an unexpected twist, add black flatware and pastel dishes to bring your color scheme to life! Check out Dishie Rentals for options on ways to put together a tablescape that will make a statement!
