Since it is the 4th of July, I feel like it is mandatory to do a little blog post on Jillian and Nick’s Patriotic Inspired Wedding! With an 18 person wedding party, a party limo bus, a trip to Church Street, personal elements around every corner, an “icing”, and even a special guest appearance from Knightro-their wedding had it all! Since their wedding fell over the 4th of July weekend, they decided to do an elegant twist on a Patriotic-themed wedding with a color scheme of navy, burgundy, white, and gold.
Nick and Jillian added a TON of personal elements to their wedding. Jillian’s veil was her “something borrowed”, as it was actually the veil her mother wore on her wedding. On her bouquet she carried charms that displayed pictures of her grandparents on their wedding day. They enjoy playing the game “Settlers of Catan” and added a few elements from the game to their wedding, including wheat in the boutonniere and hexagon shaped seat hangers that say “Better Together”. She also wanted the wedding to be very Downtown oriented and to show their love for UCF. Although the rain did change plans a bit, we were able to make a brief pit stop to Church Street Station for a few quick pics, and of course the UCF part was covered by a special appearance from Knightro!
The couple and wedding party (along with their beautiful family) and my fellow vendors were so much fun all day long! I need to give a little blog high five to their planner-the beautiful team at Blue Ribbon Weddings-who flawlessly planned this incredible wedding! Nick and Jillian- Thank You so much for having us as a part of the day. Here is a little preview of your beautiful day-I hope you are having the most amazing time ever on your honeymoon, and I can’t wait to show you the rest of your day from my point of view!!
