Central Florida is a wedding mecca-with wedding venues found on almost every corner. With luxurious Country Clubs, elegant ballrooms at 5 star hotels, gorgeous Estates, and rustic ranches (just to name a few), there is a venue to match any wedding style you could imagine. As a wedding photographer, I get the chance to visit many of these venues throughout the year, so I thought I would put together a list of some of the best Central Florida Wedding Venues to photograph!
It is very easy to see why Bella Collina tops my list of of Amazing Central Florida Wedding Venues! This Tuscan-inspired venue immediately transports you to a new destination-it gives the feel that you are no longer in Florida! The clubhouse is a gorgeous stone Estate with stunning views. There are limitless options for pictures-bridges, overlooks, gorgeous doors and stairs-every inch of the grounds is picturesque-and they give you access to a golf cart so you can make as much use of the grounds as possible!
Casa Feliz is a renovated Spanish Farmhouse that is just gorgeous. With whitewashed brick, teal shutters, and Spanish tiles, Casa Feliz is a breathtaking backdrop for a wedding! It is the perfect place for someone who appreciates great Architecture-and who loves texture throughout their pictures. Casa Feliz has hidden gems throughout the exterior of the venue-archways, balconies, a pretty landscape, and large picturesque windows that there are tons of perfect locations for portraits! The exterior of the house also provides you with a beautiful setting for both your outdoor ceremony and reception.

The Royal Crest Room is a gem of a venue! The ceremony space is incredible-located in the Rose Garden Terrace, there is a red brick walkway serving as the isle, leading up to the stunning white pergola. The little pop of color and the dark greens make for the prettiest of ceremony pictures! For portraits, you are given access to golf carts and are free to venture around the grounds, which has tons and tons of gorgeous backdrops for pictures. One of the most popular areas is a stone bridge, and of course the perfectly kept greens of the golf course!
It’s the Ritz-you already know it’s awesome. One thing I love about this venue is that although the hotel is rather large and located in the heart of our tourist area, it is very serene and peaceful. It is not overly cluttered with guests that you have to avoid. The staff is incredibly helpful as well, which is necessary when trying to navigate through a large property. The ceremony space is so incredibly pretty-a beautiful gazebo space that is just off the lake. There are beautiful outdoor staircases and corridors, and as you can see if you take a peek at Sean and Shawn’s gallery in the link below, larger than life water fountains!
You can find more from Sean and Shawn’s Ritz Carlton Wedding here: Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes Wedding. PS: Be sure to check out the amazing signs from Chalk Shop and the gorgeous lemon and greenery flower arrangements from Lee Forrest Design! Also want to give a shoutout to Becky from L.I.F.E. Events!
As you can tell, I’m a fan of the mansions! The interior of the Stetson Mansion is so beautiful and unique-it just had to be on my list. Just the inside of the mansion alone gives you a gazillion ideas for pictures. You walk right in to an incredible staircase with stained glass windows. I mean-come on. One of the coolest features is a hidden little hallway with windows, making for such a great location for a few portraits! The dressing rooms are suites that are beautifully decorated and full of detail. As far as the outside goes, just having the mansion in the background is amazing, but there is also a pretty fountain, a gazebo, and a secret garden tucked behind the mansion. Even the doors of the garage are pretty. To top everything off, the owners are complete gems, making it just a pleasant experience all around!

Planned once again by Pearl White Events! Shoutout to my favorite makeup artist Laura Reynolds Artistry as well-who also did the makeup for the Sydonie Mansion shoot!
Sydonie Mansion provides its couples with the outdoor portion of their venue, which is a magical 5 acres of pretty! Each section of the property gives a little bit of a different feel, giving your pictures a ton of variety. The lawn is a nice, opens tree-lined space that leads to the lake-where there is a boathouse. The courtyard is my favorite place-it is full of beautiful landscaping, concrete benches, and ivy covered walls-it is wedding portrait perfection! Sydonie Mansion was built in the Mediterranean Revival style, and was inspired by the Alhambra Castle in Spain, so you know it is a winner!
If you didn’t already know, we are a husband-wife team here at JRP, so I have to make sure to add in my husband’s favorite venue! Tavares Pavilion on the Lake is 8,000 sq. feet of absolute gorgeousness. The bridal suite is elegantly decorated and the groom’s room is spacious, which isn’t always the case-making pre-ceremony pictures a breeze for both parties. The venue sits on Lake Dora and boasts a huge back wall made of glass, giving you incredible views and a stunning backdrop. To go one step further, a winding, two-tier staircase was put on that glass wall, making it the ultimate place for an indoor ceremony. The interior of the venue was made to have an island retreat vibe. On the outside, there is a long brick paved walkway leading up to the venue-which has two staircases leading to the second floor, giving the venue a lovely symmetrical look.

Kraft Azalea Gardens is a the perfect venue for a small, intimate wedding! The public park sits on approximately 5 acres, and holds up to 20 guests. One reason I love this venue is because I love intimate weddings. There is something so beautiful and special about a wedding where you are surrounded by your closest friends and family-lots of love in the air! Picture time is a breeze at Kraft Azalea, as the lush gardens boast a picturesque exedra and has large Cypress trees throughout the park, making it the perfect place for your bride and groom portrait session! With Park Avenue just down the street, there are plenty of great options for your reception dinner!

If you are looking for a vintage/rustic wedding, this is the venue for you. As far as the venue from a photographer’s perspective, the grounds are just covered with incredible natural backdrops including a long pier through the woods that leads to the lake, large Oak trees (one has the cutest swing hanging from it that was just perfect), a beautifully kept home with perfect landscaping-even the driveway leading into the property made for amazing pictures! Aside from the portrait aspect of the venue, the owner is incredible and takes 110% pride in what she does. Every inch of her property has been carefully designed with your wedding in mind. She has spent over 30 years collecting vintage and antique pieces to use as decor, and has over 200 sets of mismatched China and silverware pieces, and uses these pieces as part of the collections she offers. This is the kind of place where I never had to say “Can you move over here so we have a nicer backdrop?” as every angle was just another beautifully decorated area of the farm-making it one of my favorite Central Florida Wedding Venues!

Shades of Green is an easy choice, because, well….Disney! You know when you are shooting at a Disney Resort Wedding, the grounds are going to be impeccably well-kept, which is of course the case of Shades of Green. With a gazebo, bridges, gorgeous landscaping, and a tree-lined golf course, there are tons and tons of options for beautiful portrait options. Shades of Green is Disney’s military resort serving members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families, so you do have to meet their eligibility requirements, but the venue can accommodate weddings ranging from intimate to up to 240 guests!
