Kayla and Justin’s Lake Ashby Farms wedding in New Smyrna, Florida was an absolute stunner and I know I’m not supposed to pick favorites but….it’s definitely up there!
Kayla and Justin are just the most adorable couple you will ever meet (as you will see by the 1,000 pictures I’m sharing of them)! They are super laid back and family-oriented in real life, so it is no surprise that their wedding day followed the same theme! Their venue-which we fell in love with as soon as we got there-was the perfect place for this outdoors loving couple and their line-dance loving guests! Kayla had gave me a little bit of info on the venue since it was my first visit, so I knew it was going to be pretty, but the amount of time, effort, and detail that goes into the decor really blew us away! Every inch of the venue had an elegant country/vintage vibe going on that was just gorgeous. Perfectly mismatched china was used as the place settings, with a simple yet beautiful flower arrangement and table number as the centerpiece. Kayla and Justin added a few extra personalized details to the wedding-including their new initial “B” made of flowers on a bail of hay and a bench to sign instead of the traditional guest book. The cake was from Publix (which we all know is delicious), and sat on a completely decorated table designated for the cake. From the bar to the welcome area to the cake table, no detail was left untouched. The property itself is a photographer’s dream, with endless places for perfect portraits!
Their wedding party consisted of their close friends and family and of course a little crew of the cutest kids ever-including the couple’s ahhhdorable daughter. The guys wore jeans, blue checkered button downs with tan vests, finished off with blue ties. The girls wore neutral dresses and all carried bouquets from Paula Jean’s Garden, which is where the guys’ boutonnieres were from as well. Paula Jean’s Garden is an etsy store based out of Montana and she makes and ships these incredible and unique bouquets made from dried wildflowers. They really pulled together the look of the wedding party, and they smelled amazing! Of course-everyone wore boots.
The reception was as expected-fun and happy with tons of dancing and karaoke! Kayla and Justin-we enjoyed spending our day with you, your wedding party (s0 much fun) and your guests. We wish you all the happiness that a family can have! It’s possible that I mayyybe shared too many pictures but I promise you it is worth the scroll!
