Sarah and JC first met in High School but there love story didn’t begin there. After losing touch after school, they were reunited again and hit it off over dinner and drinks and as they like to say “it was always you”. Fast forward a few years to the Royal Crest Room Florida Wedding which is themed after JC’s favorite sports team – Auburn. While I am also a big sports fan, I can certainly say that the way Sarah and JC planned their big day was with class and style in mind. They were able to subtly bring out the groom’s love for his team through the deep oranges, navy blue and pearl white with just a few touches of gold.
And their wedding day was more then just the two of them. Included in all of the events was the couple’s son Brady. He walked his Mom down the aisle and JC brought (lots of) tears to everyone’s eyes when he read his personalized vows to not only Sarah but to Brady too. It was a lovely occasion and my heart was so full after seeing this fun-loving family come together as one. I can’t wait to share all of the details that made up their Royal Crest Room Florida Wedding with you! Keep reading to hear more about their touching day.
Sarah gifted monogrammed button-down shirts for all of her bridesmaids to get ready in. They made the pictures look so classy as they were preparing for the day!
Brady was the perfect escort for guiding his Mom down the aisle. She made for quite the stunning bride wearing a Demetrios Bridal ball-gown with intricate lace detailing covering the bodice and throughout the organza skirt.
When JC first saw Sarah and Brady gliding down the aisle, the moment was priceless. His look of pure joy and emotion shows all over his face and it makes it clear that these two are the perfect pair.
The couple wrote personalized vows to each other, and JC took it a step further by also writing vows to Brady. I can guarantee there wasn’t a dry eye at the ceremony and I loved being able to capture such a special moment between the newly united family.
One of the reasons that Sarah and JC chose The Royal Crest Room for their wedding is because it was both outdoor (ceremony) and indoor (reception). We were able to use the golf course and setting sun to capture the stunning pictures of the couple and wedding party. It was pretty fun to ride around in the golf carts too!
Sarah created these stunning floral arrangements as a DIY project and they came out stunning! On half of the guest tables there were 3 assorted mercury stain glass tall candlesticks with scattered magnolia leaves and votive candles around them. And the other half of the tables had tall glass vases consisting of hydrangeas, magnolia flowers, magnolia leaves, and willow trees with magnolia leaves and votive candles surrounding them. A Chair Affair provided the gorgeous chivalri chairs which complimented the overall look of the room.
The flavor of choice for their cake, made by Publix Aprons Event Planning was a white cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting and it tasted as good as it looked!
Having a “photo booth” made the night so much fun! Guests really got into the spirit of dressing up and acting silly. Overall the day was filled with smiles, laughter and the chance for the sweetest family to become one. I am so happy that I was able to capture Sarah, JC and Brady’s special day!
