5 Workout Classes to Try Before the Wedding | Pre-Wedding Tips| Jamie Reinhart Photography

One of the most common things I hear brides saying they need to do before their wedding, is “get in shape” or “tone up”. I decided to put together a few of my favorite workout studios, to help you achieve your fitness goal. Each workout shows results and is nationwide. Not one of the classes you take at these studios will be the same. The instructors like to create something new and exciting with each workout.

1. Pure Barre

Deemed as “the best total body barre workout”, each class focuses on toning the muscles. Each 55 minute class, takes you through a full body workout. Pure Barre targets the areas most women struggle to tone: hips, thighs, butt, stomach and arms. The workout is “low-impact, protecting your joints by avoiding any bouncing or jumping. Each strength section of the workout is followed by a stretching section in order to create long, lean muscles without bulk”.

Pure Barre is also beneficial for those seeking clarity and relaxation. The classes allow “for you to block “life” out for the hour, creating the mental benefits similarly obtained by the practice of yoga or meditation”. You will leave class with “a transformed body and a clear head”.

2. Orangetheory Fitness

Orangetheory is an interval training workout. Heart-rate monitors are used to keep track and help achieve a total body and maximum workout. The heart rate monitors ensure each person’s heart is the target zone. Between 500 to 1,000 calories are burned per class. Each 60 minute workout is divided into cardio vascular and strength training intervals.

“Increase energy, get visible results and burn more calories, even after leaving the studio. That’s the Orange Effect”!

3. SoulCycle

SoulCycle believes fitness can be fun and full of joy. Classes are on an indoor bike. For 45 minutes, you will be taken through a cardio workout that is enjoyable. SoulCycle is known to make sweating seem easier, as each instructor has the perfect playlist ready to go. To achieve a full body workout, they include hand weights and incorporate moves to target and strengthen the core.

Yoga, relaxation and sculpt classes are a handful of the options available. CorePower believes in “working every muscle and every emotion”. There is a class and workout that will fulfill your fitness needs. The yoga sculpt classes are great for toning up and working on arms and the core. Make sure you checkout the CorePower Yoga app!

5. Dailey Method

The Dailey Method offers cycling, barre and yoga classes. They focus on proper alignment and hands on training. The studios are known for their results, as well as the community. There are private lessons available at each studio, for additional training and help achieving those wedding day goals!

Alrighty, it’s time- grab your shoes and get sweating! I would love to hear about your experience if you choose to try out any of the above studios. Comment on this post or visit me on my other social media pages to rave about your class!
